I have three years experience in website design and administration and am also highly expperienced in bespoke application support and testing. I also have in - depth experience of working alongside programmers assisting in software design writing technical documentation and html help programs.

I have two and a half year?s experience in technical documentation and Web Design, using Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Microsoft HTML Help. I have written technical documentation for sales and accountancy software which include a wide suite of financial reports. I have gained experience of Red Hat Linux, Cobalt RAQ3 webserver, Apache web server, MySQL, PHP, phpMyAdmin, PHP Bulletin Board. I have some experience of Flash and have an appreciation of HTML and Java script from designing pages within Dreamweaver.

I have experience of installing and configuring Red Hat to run as a web server with PHP support and MySQL server installation.

I have experience of providing software training to end users. In my previous role as an Account Manager I regularly attended meetings to discuss the development of software with clients, taking on board suggestions for enhancements or changes. I have assisted in the presentation of commercial software to prospective clients and am aware of the thorough preparation needed to present a product to a specific business requirement.

As well as documenting and analysing requests for software enhancements/bug fixes from clients I have been responsible for breaking down and assigning tasks to programmers, and testing changes comprehensively before release to the client. I have also assisted in the design of software modules, and carried out client database administration.

Through technical support I have gained experience of Windows 98 & 2000, Active Directory, terminal services and Microsoft Office applications in general.

I believe I have made significant contributions to the projects I have worked on and have excellent communications skills and a thorough approach to solving problems.
