Ballast Plc ~ 2nd Line Technical Support Analyst (June 2002 ? Present)

Responsible for onsite repair and troubleshooting of client machines, servers, and network equipment, both hardware and software to over 400 people in 15 fixed offices and multiple remote offices in Southern England. I am involved in deploying Novell Netware 6 servers to my offices and upgrading all client machines to Windows 2000. I still maintain responsibility for all Windows Servers and I am heavily involved in the deployment of 2000 Professional via Zen Works and Windows deployment tools.

Ballast Plc ~ First Line Technical Support ( Helpdesk ) (May 2001 ? June 2002)

Providing telephone support to over 1200 users, Routine maintenance and monitoring of servers both on site and remotely. I am responsible for troubleshooting, administering, maintaining and installing our Windows 2000 servers.
Provide some hardware support and diagnostics of client machines.
Monitoring Backup regimes using Arcserve for Novell and NT.Also solely responsible for all backup/restore operations using BackupExec for Netware.
Solving user problems with software such as MS Office 2000, Lotus Notes, C.O.I.N.S (Unix based Databases) as well as networking issues such as cabling and connectivity across the WAN and LAN.
