Hachette Filipacchi (UK) Ltd. (I.T. / Project Manager) October 2002 ? November 2002 Implementation and planning of migration of 6 women magazines into existing and new offices. (Elle, Elle Girl, Elle Decoration, Red, Red-Online and Red Direct Magazines). In charge of a 12 man team implementing the project over a 10 day time period. The planning of day to day support issues while the project was running and once the project had been completed. Implementation of a company wise anti-virus deployment of Sophos systems as OS systems ranged from Win98, WinNT, and Win2000 and Mac systems. The purchasing and negotiations of hardware and software for the company within the project time period and after the magazine migration was completed. Training sessions on configuration procedures of the Mac systems was given to the installers that arrived for the main project role-out. The configurations of all machines to bring them up to company specifications which included hardware and software additions. The implementation of remote clients for the support teams to control / help users on both sites. The training of support staff in the use of administration applications and the remote tools that were implemented into the sites.

Responsible for configuration of client?s laptops and workstations. Planning and deployment of large scale security systems (i.e. Black Ice, Norton Anti-Virus Management Tools, Routers , Sonic Walls, etc). The Planning & Design of corporate anti-virus systems with Head Office. Planning & Management of rollout procedures were done at each site visit with the help of local installers. Training sessions on configuration procedures of the Workstations/Laptops was given to the installers that arrived at each different site. The configuration of LOTUS NOTES and all 3rd party software was completed for each user that migrated over to windows 2000. Imaging of all any new units on a multicast scale was done when needed.
