2001 - 2002   TLCI
I was responsible for much of the design and implementation of a new palm top computer EPOS system. I installed the EPOS system in a Turkish holiday resort and was responsible for all hardware and software installation. This includes training 30 staff on how to use Access, SQL Server and palm top computers. I was the first line of support for the club manager and accountant and worked under pressure to a strict time frame.I also had other clients which I supported both on site and online and again was responsible for training and updates for their respective systems.
2000 - 2000   Bournemouth University
Design and create a database within Microsoft Access, create reports, queries, create a user interface compatible with Visual Basic programming language. Interact with other team members adhering to a strict time management schedule. I Used Rational Rose as a design and analysis tool.
1998 - 1999   Screencrest
Responsibility of backing up their computer system, together with basic skills in computer-aided design (CAD). Also creating a database / catalogue of technical drawings, trained and being fluent in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Publisher and being fluent on the Internet and familiar with all major Internet software.Screencrest helped me to improve my confidence as I felt I had a challenging range of responsibilities. Screencrest also provided me with new experiences, which included new approaches toward problem solving.
1996 - 1998   NEXT Retail
Communicating with customers, using EPOS systems for customer transactions and orders, interacting with the warehouse and stock control systems, interacting with credit control agencies, having responsibilities for stock replenishment, responsibilities for handling and counting cash. Working for a large retail company ensured that I became very flexible, enabling me to operate within a successful team for a number of branches. Therefore holding a number of different positions. I had various responsibilities which also meant I had to work in a pressurised but controlled environment.
