IT Technician
I am 20 years of age and I am currently looking for employment and your company seems ideal. As you can see from my CV I have had well over 18 months experience in IT support/Network maintenance. I am well trained, and confident in all aspect of Microsoft Windows applications as I have been using them for well over three years now. I am young and hard working and keen to learn new skills. I am currently undergoing a government-training scheme that will train me until I gain my ultimate goal Microsoft MCSE qualification. The scheme is fully funded by the government, and will invest in me until I have passed my ultimate goal, most communication is done over with them and any work set is always carried out in my own time, so far I have currently passed my compTIA A+, and I am currently studding for the Network +, then MCSE.
I feel confident working in both a large team or by myself and will tackle any problem I am faced with; I am keen to learn new skills and progress in the IT industry. I feel that experience is the best training you can get, and I currently have over a years experience in the following: installing and configuring operating systems from Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, XP and Linux. I?m a also happy backing-up server and restoring data from them, I have also had vast experience in maintaining servers and Web servers. I have also built from scratch a fully working and functional Windows 2000 Terminal Server, which is still used today at my current place of employment. On a more day-to-day basis I regularly build standalone PCs from scratch and install them for new users, this also includes configuring them for network communication. I am extremely fluent in using most Microsoft applications. And I am willing to learn out of work, by currently reading up on and revising for extra qualification.

Over three years experience using Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Front Page, Access and different versions of Windows Operating Systems.
Over 18 months experience in IT support, including restoring and backing up servers, building and re-building computers, network support maintenance. Building patch panel connections to support CAT 5 Ethernet network connections. Laptop, desktop and server support. I have also supported and maintained wireless connections for printers and laptop PCMCIA connections.
I have worked with SQL and have knowledge of LAN and WAN and wireless connections, and maintained servers, web servers, Windows 2000 Terminal Servers and storage severs, I also have good knowledge on TCP/IP. I?ve also installed numerous operating systems from Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT 4.0, XP, and LINUX.
Currently studying for a Microsoft MCSE qualification, which is the main goal I am aiming to achieve in the IT industry. I am currently on my way to achieving Network+ qualification after passing my A+ exams, then progress on to my main goal of achieving a Microsoft MCSE qualification
Understanding and confident customer service recognised from John Lewis Partnership. And strong communication skills learnt from IT support both in person and over the tele. I?ve also had first hand training with the whole of Comtek Network System ltd computer systems as my supervisor and myself run the IT department.
I also like to teach myself when I can, because it is important to keep on top of new technologies entering every day life. Also the best way of learning I feel is experience.
