Demonstrating my commitment to the company with 12 years continuous service, initially as a Systems Engineer in 1990, developing and shaping my role, culminating in my most recent achievement with promotion to Business Development Director of Ferranti Air Systems Ltd in 2000, a subsidiary of the group.

2000 -    Ferranti Air Systems
Promoted to this position in 2000, reporting directly to the MD, my objective was to ensure Ferranti achieved the position as market leader within the USA, moving from a product supplier to a Systems Integrator / Supplier.
Primary responsibilities and achievements include:

· analysis and overall strategy for the USA market
· production of marketing and business development plans at board level
· establishment and implementation of budgets / targets and the primary sales pipeline
· negotiating at MD/CEO level both internally and externally.
· identifying key strategic alliances and partnerships
· motivation and management of my team members
· personally responsible for the generation of in excess of £40M GBP revenue.
1997 - 2000   Ferranti Air Systems
Formed key partnerships and built business relationships with a number of influential personnel within BAA LHR and British Airways whilst identifying commercial opportunities of mutual benefit to both parties. This role included relationship building and achievement of targets. Personal achievements in excess of targets with £10M GBP revenue generated.
1995 - 1997   Datel Technology Limited
I successfully established the company?s London office to implement and support two SCADA contracts worth in excess of £8M GBP each for the London Underground Jubilee Line Extension Project.
This included working within budgetary parameters, staff recruitment and management of in excess of 25 employees. Ensuring the commercial viability of the projects and reporting directly to the board .
1993 - 1995   Datel Technology Limited
SCADA Equipment Engineering Manager reporting to the Company Manager on the London Underground Jubilee Line Extension Project. My primary role was the production of tender specifications followed by the evaluation / contract negotiation and awarding of the contracts. Values exceeded £4M GBP.
1990 - 1993   Datel Technology Limited
Equipment Engineer for the Tornado Mid Life Upgrade. Responsible for the Head Up Display / Forward Looking Infra-Red and Covert Radio Altimeter.
