I have gained approximately 12 years experience in the computer industry, working for as a field engineer for various companies including Computer Services Group and Misys Financial Systems Ltd. As a result I have gained a good technical knowledge of various computer systems through dealing with and resolving problems both on customers premesis, and at the company workshops.
With each of these companies I have built on my experiences in maintaining and repairing most types of computer equipment. I have also gained experience in the installation and configuration of computer hardware and software, for both business environments - such as local government, Education Authorities and Health Authorities - and private users i.e. the home market

I am always interested in developing my level of knowledge and skills further. I am currently studying towards the Microsoft MCSA 2003 and have also started a Dreamweaver course.

Re-employed within the company as a third party field engineer, providing support and maintenance to both contract and non contract customers. Resolving issues with pc?s and printers both on site and in the workshops where applicable. Setting up of new computers and equipment onto existing networks, configuring anti-virus software and removal of virus and spy ware, email and web access. Also undertaking repairs to computers and printers.
2001 - 2004	Misys Financial Systems Ltd.
Duties included maintenance and support of both Misys own proprietary system (Tripos) and Microsoft Windows based systems, within the insurance industry. Fault diagnosis and repair, installation of new equipment onto new and existing networks with email and internet access, Upgrades and new installation of Tripos servers. Routine preventative maintenance was also involved.
1997 - 2001

1994 - 1997	CFL Computer Systems Ltd.
Employed as a field service engineer to cover maintenance contracts with customers. Duties included providing maintenance for all clients, mainly local government, health authorities and local education authorities and technical support at both managerial and user level. Last project involved designing and implementing a new and revised system for logging, testing and returning faulty items to their respective suppliers. I also assisted with the delivery and installation of both computer hardware and software for all customers. As well as the maintenance I had been closely involved with the assembly of the company?s own brand of computer system.
