They supply reference data and know your customer services for financial institutions and government agencies, including RBSG and the Passport office. I have worked for Equifax in a number of positions since graduating from University. During my tenure, I have been responsible for customer facing information gathering and technical solution designs, as well as mentoring junior developers and outside contractors to deliver key projects. I have also taken responsibility for coding, testing and resolution of customer issues, as well as delivering and suggesting process improvements with the aim of saving costs and driving revenue. I am an acknowledged subject matter expert for core systems including the risk navigator and locate systems, which are key credit scoring and customer trace products utilised by major financial institutions. I have considerable experience in taking business requirements and producing technical specifications and cost estimates for customers. One of my core competencies is undertaking system performance analysis to deliver scheduling and process efficiencies to deliver considerable cost savings to the business as well as delivering improvements in system response times for customers. My work experience also includes managing a team of 15 individuals, including direct employees and outside contractors. Programming languages and systems I have coded to include COBOL, CICS, NATURAL, ADABAS, including direct calls from other languages, Hyperstation, File Aid, Dumpmaster, Xpediter, Code Coverage, iStrobe and Strobe, IBM mainframe MVS and TSO, SCLM, JCL, OPC, ADA and C. I have also completed training courses in data modelling. Projects I have worked on and key achievements are:- Achievements ? Data Maintenance and loading systems projects. I was instrumental in putting in place a Y2K project to streamline and improve maintenance and loading of customer reference data. This included electoral role and customer credit record data including logging of county court judgements. This delivered cost efficiencies and improved processes and resilience of data. I designed, coded and delivered the system included testing. ? Council of mortgage lenders system. I was involved with rewriting the system for logging data on IVA?s and mortgage defaults. This delivered significant efficiencies and controls for Equifax and allowed them to offer an additional call centre service for key customers and drive revenue. This project involved amalgamation of legacy systems for storage of data relating to CML, CIFAS, CCJ?s, insight credit information, auto trace for address data, electoral role and notice of disassociation and creation of financial links for individuals. ? Y2K batch system testing. I headed up the project to test these systems and steered a team of contractors to ensure systems ran effectively after Y2K. ? Core Products Team ? system expert in the risk navigator system which calculates credit score data for major financial institutions. I have been the key interface for technical solutions on this system between the business and the customer. ? Consumer letters credit file. Designed a system to save and reference the credit file and search for future reference and audit.
