Built & repaired computer systems, virus & trojan removal and identifed & fixed hardware & software problems.
1990 - 2003	Sole Programmer
I was responsible for keeping the system up and running 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.� This involved performing daily backups to both tape & two backup servers (one off-site), testing the U.P.S. and installing, maintaining & repairing over 50 PCs and 24 Macs.� I also set-up page make-up templates in Quark, InDesign and PageMaker.� However, my main duties were the development of a FoxPro database which enabled daily newspapers to provide daily form, rating and statistical information that was previously restricted to specialist publications.� I left the company when it was bought out by the Press Association and re-located outside Hull.
