Responsible for both the system?s main applications, including the design & development of new functionality, maintaining current functionality, implementing ad hoc updates as and when required, along with unit & system testing. Intranet Library System Worked on the complete requirements gathering, analysis, design, development & testing of the new company library system. The project used core web technologies with a SQL Server 2000 database and provided a solid introduction to UML, COM and n-tier design.

Visual Basic/Internet Applications for Management Accounts Responsible for the analysis, design, development & testing (both unit & system) of major sales & margin reporting applications using VB 6.0 & VBA connecting to IBM DB2, SQL Server & MS Access databases, as well as MS Excel spreadsheets. The role also involved work on the maintenance & expansion of the department Intranet pages.
