Junior Sales/Account Admin

When rejoining the DWP New Media section my roles and responsibilities have designing and developing websites, providing support to non-technical members of staff.
As publisher/designer my main role was to produce websites for the DWP Intranet, this involves communication through , tele conversations and meetings.
I also have travelled to Leeds offering training in macromedia Fireworks and Dreamweaver (web-applications) to other members of our team.
On a daily basis my main duties are updating content to the server using FTP, liasing with other DWP staff e.g. Child Support Agency, Jobcentre Plus.
When uploading content I am also responsible for testing all files are functioning accordingly.
I have developed a firm grasp of HTML and all web applications, this has give me the confidence to attain the above responsibilities.

Using the skills mentioned above I feel designing and developing sites is something I?ve become familiar with.
Offering technical and web design advice to non-technical department workers happens in duties I complete everyday. I also work with contractors internally and externally the nature of some work tends to be sub - contracted e.g. CSA Outlook magazine that I put online on monthly basis.
