Achievements

· Participated in the full project lifecycle of developing software, which included the following tasks: attended initial introduction meetings with customer and determined the need for a customised software solution; led individual meetings with project stakeholders to gather the project requirements; finalised project ER model and presented it to the client; designed and implemented Access and SQL databases; created the project plan, schedule and goals and estimated duration and cost of tasks; allocated tasks to developers while also participating in the development in Visual Basic using RAD tools; led testing procedures for all tasks to ensure high standards, led application installation.

· Responsible for meeting with stakeholders during the developing process to keep them informed and to revise all requirements and determine the project status; did version control of all project modules using Visual SourceSafe, documented details of every process executed and did all general administration required; led client training after project installation and managed changes or improvements required.

Software Developer

· Responsible for programming application software making use of Active X and COM objects in Visual Basic; created stored procedures in SQL for reporting facilities in Crystal Reports; assisted with client training and maintained software applications; executed testing procedures and implemented enhancements required, maintained SQL and Access databases, created installation file when project was finished and implemented at client offices.
