I have an outgoing personality I enjoy most outdoor pursuits with my three young children and am proficient in canoeing and climbing. Taking request for new internal developments and changes to existing company systems, Agreeing and managing time scales for the projects, development of new internal programs and controlling the development source code.

Projects: -
·Development of a program to allow department managers to record employees absence and feed the information back to the payroll department.

·Development of a payroll system to take data from an external company and integrate the data into the companies existing accounts package.

·Development of an application to track the movement of company resources sent between sites and sent externally for repair.

Involvement: -
Each of the above projects where managed by myself from the initial project request through to the testing and implementation of the systems.
1995 - 2001   Moores Furniture Grou
Position on Leaving: -
Analyst Programmer

Responsibilities: -
Originally starting out at Moores furniture group as a Computer operator I progressed to PC Support technician and then onto PC development.


Projects: -
·Development of a document transfer system to send customer order details from a windows 98 laptop to an AS400 database by developing an FTP client to work over a VPN.

·Development of a new browser based system for a 60 + strong sales force

·Development of a system to control worktop manufacturing saws by way of the PC Comm port.

·Development of the Moores Furniture Group Website

·Development of a customer contacts database for the company sales force

·Support of the company sales force laptops including making recommendations for the purchase of new hardware.

Involvement
·Initial research into browser based programming for the company and feasibility study.

·Coding the ASP pages with some use of Macromedia Ultradev and VBScript.

·Writing an FTP client to transfer files to and from a remote machine to head office. Then using ADO to transfer the data to the AS400 databases for processing.

·Implementing the pages onto the sales force system.
·Installation and testing on the new sales force systems re-coding some programs to run under
