Before I started doing my MSc Computing degree last year, I worked in the IT industry for Nokia, Nortel and Symbian. I have gained strong programming skills in software development, software testing and build co-ordination.
I also worked as an Executive Officer for the Department of Transport, wherein I co-managed the CMG software consulting team with the CEO. It gave me the opportunity to practise my management skills within a large team, which meant I had to communicate well with people at all levels regarding technical and non-technical issues.
From the intense MSc degree, I worked on two large-scale, practical and web-based projects (group and individual). I have gained all-round, solid skill sets on web design, support and development. This degree has provided me the opportunity to obtain new skills and technical knowledge (please refer to CV).
