Responsibilities during this period include maintaining all aspects of the Company's IT infrastructure and the
desktop support to fifty-four users on two sites including the writing and creation of custom management reports using
both Crystal Reports and Microsoft Excel. Other responsibilities include the control of the IT budget, negotiation of
maintenance and support contracts, telephone system administration, licence administration and also responsible for the successful project management and installation of a new ERP system and VPN, this involved the liaison between internal Departments and the external contractor.
1999 - 2000   Marchant Manufacturing Co Ltd
Employed during this period as the systems administrator reporting to the Financial Director. Responsibilities included
Desktop support, telephone system administration and maintenance, purchasing IT equipment and consumables
report writing and database maintenance and responsible for the backup procedure

1999 - 1999   The Aqua Group Ltd
Responsibilities during this period include maintaining all aspects of the Company's telephone system including cabling, documentation, equipment is serviced and working correctly, logging faults and proposing enhancements for the efficient running of the server and network.
Also responsible for the support of system users, providing solutions to user problems on a one to one basis, also the liaison with service engineers and software houses, the purchasing of all consumables and hardware. Also to ensure that the daily back-up routine is set and running correctly. The administration and maintenance of the company's email system. Also to provide software development and support using MS visual Basic 5.0, Seagate Crystal Reports.
1998 - 1999  
Employed during this period as a PC and Network engineer responsible for the repair and fault finding on existing PC's and network, which also included IBM AS400. Also responsible for the configuration and loading of required software such as Windows NT Workstation, Windows 95 Office 95 & 97, MS Project, and IBM Client Access. During this period also responsible for the buying of consumables and hardware for the IT department. Also undertaken was a Novell to Windows NT migration including assigning TCP/IP addresses, users, groups and also the back-up routine.
1997 - 1998  
Employed during this period as a Computer Maintenance Engineer responsible for the faultfinding, repair, and the configuration of privately owned PC's in the East Anglian Region.
Also responsible for the building of PC's from component parts and the installation of software such as DOS, Windows 95 and Windows 3.11 for private customers.
