software firm and as a technical consultant in a banking environment.

I currently hold the mid-tier responsibilities in two related teams. This involves, design implementation and maintenance. Examples of my work in these roles follow : Complete responsibility for design and implementation of Mid-Tier and database for Workflow / data capture system, used by bank call centre staff as well as application fulfilment teams. This project was completed with tight deadlines, with myself and three front end developers working as an independent team (skills used were Java, EJB, JDBC, XML and eXpose) Sole responsibility for implementing mid-tier logic and database schema to co-ordinate the process of authorising mortgages ranging in value from �50000 to �10000000. Furthermore, responsible for maintenance and providing the necessary process for non technical users to update the system when business rules were modified. (EJB and JDBC/SQL) Designed and co-implemented front-end, mid-tier and database systems to handle problem cases of documentation and statements to be sent to customers. (shills used were JSP, EJB and JDBC/SQL) Implemented system used to determine if customer Income Verification is required during application for a credit products. (skills used were EJB and XML). Additionally, responsible for training of four Java developers. In 2003 I was responsible for an additional role in addition to the two already specified, on a short cycle pilot project (not for the Banking/Call Centre client). My role was to design (with a technical architect), develop and support an application to handle the coordination of data between branches, brokers and mortgage units. The project involved working to customise a workflow product to deliver the support required for the new business processes that were to be used by a bank branch. Once the workflow product was in place I also developed real time reports required to support the business using the E-Reports package. Additionally I was responsible for updating the workflow system to meet changing user requirements.
1999 - 2000	Arclight Systems Limited
Design and Implementation of JavaBeans enabled Graphical User Interface building tool. This java drag and drop design tool is part of a Knowledge Management System. It uses the following technologies: JavaBeans, Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) and Java Swing. Design and Implementation of a Program monitoring and logging tool used for debugging and logging program information during development, but is also used to keep logs once a user has deployed the program. The tool makes use of Java?s multithreading capabilities and a Java Swing user interface. Design and Implementation of a Database information management application. This application is built to interact with Databases for both viewing and modifying data. It involved design and implementation of a Relational to Object Mapping layer, caching system, dynamic User Interface generation, a browser capable of navigating linked pages (used to generate dynamic content for users) stored in the database and integration with third party XML validators and XSL processors. Responsible for implementation of XSL StyleSheets for dynamic device dependent content generation. Creation of XSL StyleSheets for rendering XML data to WAP enabled devices (phone, PDA and browser).
