2000 - 2004   Waterloo Housing Association
My experience of web site design, development and management has been developing over the past seven years. Prior to my post at Waterloo I began creating web pages at the University of Central England. I took a leap forward on commencing employment with Waterloo Housing Association where I took on the development of the organisation's web site and Intranet site, including linking existing databases, from scratch.

Now that both sites are established, a large part of my role involves their management. I ensure that content is accurate and up to date by liaising with departmental staff and management. My job includes responsibility for communicating with legal advisors regarding disclaimers and data protection and ensuring that all sites comply with the latest W3C standards for accessibility. I meet regularly with departmental heads to set future targets for site content. As part of the overall management of our site I extract meaningful data via site management tools and put it to good use.
1996 - 2000   UCE
Empployed as a moderna apprentice in IT I gained good all round knowledge of hardware software and networks. I began developing web sites here. My role also involved PC support and training
