Engineering and Logistics Manager: Based on site at Goldman Sachs looking after new deliveries and hardware break fix in the city of London plus four European offices.
? Managing three operational rotas to maximise resources and ensure best coverage over core hours. Using 23 direct reports
? Coordinating the UNIX out of hours emergency contact rota.
? Managing and coordinating adhoc projects, as per Goldman?s request, ensuring the most efficient and economical solution is found. The most recent example is the XP rollout across the London campus.
? The Structure and implementation of personnel performance reviews (PMI) to enhance performance and provide adequate development for each team member.
? Administration of two REMEDY call logging queues. Ensuring that all calls are logged correctly and that all priority levels are set and adhered to.
? Personnel Admin, including absence logging, annual leave and disciplinary procedures.
? Liaison with Goldman Sachs UNIX and NT System Administrators in all operational matters. Ensuring that all relevant information is passed between them and the Engineers.
? Liaising directly with all Goldman Sachs vendors internal and external.
? Cover for asset management team leader controlling 3 night scanners, scanning assets at different GS locations.
2000 - 2003   Steria
Logistics Supervisor: Based on site at Goldman Sachs controlling all Steria?s on site IT equipment covering six different sites in the city of London plus four European offices.
? Looking after a team of three goods in staff. Managing rotas, holidays, sickness and disciplinary procedures.
? Accounting for all stock
? Overseeing return of faulty goods and replacements with in strict SLA?s.
? Identifying overstock and under stocked equipment as necessary.
? Liaise directly with IT manufactures to gain warranty repairs.
? Supporting the PC hardware engineers, doing break fix calls when necessary.
? Supporting the GS asset management team tracking all GS IT hardware equipment updating the asset management database.
? Cover for asset management team leader controlling 3 night scanners, scanning assets at different GS locations
1995 - 2000   Bull Information Systems
Bull Information Systems
Logistics Multi Vendor Spares Buyer: Based on site at the Bull office in Slough. Working within the Customer Services Division in logistics & purchasing.
? Looking after 3rd party purchasing within the UK.
? Buying for calls as well as stock.
? Dealing directly with suppliers ensuring they adhere to Bulls policies and procedures.
? Analysing supply and demand to fulfil contract requirements.
? On site visits to suppliers on regular basis.
? Keeping in-depth record of stock levels
? Developing procedures and instigating their use by other members of staff.
