A+ Certified

Having recently made redundant due to Company relocation and have taken this opportunity to rethink my career and make a move into Information Technology.

Having researched the industry, I am aware of how competitive it is. I have therefore invested in studying for the A+ qualification, which I was successful in completing earlier this month.

Information Technology has always been of great interest to me and over the years I have spent a great deal of time on my personal computer, providing a helpdesk facility to friends and family, and reading a large number of industry publications such as PC Advisor & Windows XP. As a result my skills and knowledge have developed to some depth. I am now looking for an opportunity where I can put my skills and knowledge to use in a business environment.

As you will see from my CV attached, until recently I have been self-taught, however the A+ qualification not only reconfirmed certain areas of my knowledge but also extending it in other areas. I am now confident that my personal experience is equivalent to someone with at least six months work experience.
