An optional one year industrial placement as part of my honours degree at university.
Duties Included:
- Administration and maintenance of Erskine Request problem logging service
- Business Applications group web-site creation and maintenance
- Daily and weekly reporting duties with regular updates to group manager
- Assist Erskine helpdesk one day per week by logging on as help desk member and receiving and resolving calls to the helpdesk
- Assist the HR department by training Erskine employees to use new computerised benefits system including giving presentations and helping individuals.
- Organise charity events to comply with student fundraising week to raise money for Kelvin School for disabled children in Glasgow.
