My primary responsibility was to manage a development team of 50 staff, who were responsible for developing new functionality for future product releases and maintaining existing products. I also set up and managed a small team in South Africa to produce customer specific projects.

My secondary responsibility was to support and assist in forming development strategy. This strategy was designed to support other parts of the business such as Business Development and Marketing.
Four application development teams reported to me. Through managing these teams I developed excellent team building and leading expertise. The teams covered:

My role involved being responsible for the full software development process, including technical design, change control, beta testing and support. The main responsibilities that I had were:
 Budgetary responsibility for Applications Development of £4 million
