Currently on an HR transformation project, aiding to create a Service Centre and employee self-service intranet system, saving the business circa £3.8m per annum.
Personally responsible for a large and complex area of the system functionality, and in addition the overall look and feel of the system. A high standard of documentation was produced in order to manage the business requirements and expectations for the redesigned processes.
Managed a UAT (user acceptance testing) team for 4 test cycles; delegating and monitoring all process test streams, alongside liaising with development on fixes, and with the business on implementation prioritisation.
Throughout the project a thorough, detailed and organised approach was taken to planning, analysis and documentation of system requirements. Experience was gained in leading and managing meetings, with all levels of management and suppliers. Contributing knowledge and ideas, while embracing expertise from a large team, across various departments and locations, proved challenging yet enjoyable.

Placements: 10 weeks Store, 10 weeks Buying and Merchandising ? with accompanying projects and presentations, 6 weeks of day placements around the business, 3 months Finance and Administration systems as a trainee business analyst.
The systems placement provided opportunity to manage a number of small and medium sized projects for Property and Finance departments. Enhancing business analyst skills; liaising with customers and internal / external developers, producing various systems documentation and project plans, whilst managing the project budget.
