PROGRAMME CONSULTANT ? TOPAZ 2.2 & SIP Programme

To support the global rollout programme to upgrade AstraZeneca IT Infrastructure and engaging 3rd parties to ensure that the sites and centre could meet the planned targets. During this time also support the sites on the security improvement programme to make sure also site were at the correct security level.

PROGRAMME OFFICE MANAGER ? TOPAZ 2.2 Programme

Worked on developing the implementation strategy for the refresh of the AZ global infrastructure to version 2.2. and roll to a number of sites global. Set up the project office and developing the processes and tools required by the project managers to carry out the implementation and engaging 3rd parties & the outsourcing company into the processes.

    To support the global programme to rationalise the AstraZeneca IT Infrastructure and upgrade it to a common set of standards, specifically to Windows 2000 and Office 2000 on the desktop, Windows 2000 and using the Active Directory on servers. Also to help sites to transition to the new outsourcing programme

    ? Successfully engaged 8 sites into the central engagement process.
    ? Overseen 3500 users migrated onto Windows 2000 platform
    ? Implemented centrally progress reporting procedure

    PROJECT MANAGER

    Project managing and budget controlling (upto £250k) of projects during Woolworth?s transition period to SAP/R3 retail

    Key Achievements
    ? Successful implementation of unit pricing into 850 stores.
    ? Rescheduling of the business-to-business music album sales to run on a timelier basis producing more accurate figures giving Woolworths a benefit of 850K p.a.
    ? Project Managing SAP migration phase and linking into Woolworths E-Commerce project.
