Marketing Programs Manager

Reporting to the Worldwide Director of Marketing, I am responsible for the planning and execution of European marketing programs for both direct and indirect channels. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Devising and implementing lead generation programs (both direct and indirect) covering
    o Web-based
    o Telemarketing
    o Direct marketing programs
  • Events management ? including:
    o Pre-event planning
    o Event support
    o Post ?event follow-up and analysis
  • Corporate communications, covering both internal and external e-newsletters, customer surveys and assisting with UK PR activities
  • Corporate identity and collateral production
  • Regional PR activities

    Ensuring that marketing programs are in line with corporate direction and budget, and fulfil corporate and marketing objectives, I have also assisted with the introduction of certain marketing related processes and procedures.
  • 2001 - 2002   TrustWorks Systems
    Working with the same management team as at Entegrity, this role focussed on kick-starting the European marketing programs. For Q1, the main deliverables were to redesign and repopulate the corporate website, launch the European PR program and to provide field marketing support in the form of lead generation programs and enhanced corporate credibility. I assisted in the definition of the corporate positioning, messaging, tag line, value proposition and house style, working with an international team, which is predominantly based in Amsterdam.

    Having joined the company in December 2001, the first task was to develop the European marketing communications plan and budget for 2002. Working from this plan and managing activities within budget, all deliverables and targets for 1H02 were met.
    1999 - 2001   Entegrity Solutions
    This role expanded considerably during my tenure with the company, growing so that I was responsible for planning and executing all of the company?s European marketing activities. This included formulating and implementing the European field marketing plan and budget in line with corporate and regional objectives, positioning and messages, briefing and managing external agencies. Activities included:

  • Lead generation programs
  • Awareness and visibility programs
  • Production of European-market based collateral
  • Event management
  • Supporting the introduction of a partner program
  • Supporting sector-focused sales campaigns
  • Building and maintaining the corporate database
  • Monitoring and reporting on success of campaigns
  • Representing the company at particular membership organisations

    Predominantly working from home, I ably demonstrated my commitment, enthusiasm and initiative in setting up, increasing and controlling the company?s European marketing activities.
  • 1998 - 1999   Baltimore Technologies
    Having gained the CIM?s Certificate in Marketing qualification, I made an internal move to the role of Marketing Assistant. Shortly after this move, the company was involved in an acquisition and subsequent change of corporate identity. I was actively involved in the definition of the new corporate identity and its communication within the group worldwide. I was specifically responsible for:

  • All marketing activities for the company?s professional services division and specifically for their education and training services.
  • Production of the company?s collateral
  • Production of the company?s annual and interim reports
  • Internal communications and events

  • 1992 - 1998   Baltimore Technologies
    My initial role at Baltimore Technologies was as PA to the Chairman.
