Project director for a start up company that assists businesses in improving working capital (Debtors) management using a unique software tool.
Managed the complete development cycle for the software tool including design and software development (Microsoft .NET). Managed development team in Uk and third party development in India. This was successfully piloted and is now installed in a number of clients helping them run their business with reduced working capital.
2002 - 2003   Ericsson NW Europe
Project managed electronic commerce program for Western Europe, resulting in productivity improvements equivalent to £1.2M.
Managed the process design project for sales and projects as part of program to implement SAP in Ericsson, Western Europe.
1997 - 2002   Ericsson UK
Completed a series of interim assignments including:

Managed project to establish a shared service centre for finance, and procurement. Essential elements were staffing, facilities, new processes and IT systems. This delivered business benefits of circa £10 million.

Managed the UK electronic trading program, which involved Implementing EDI and Internet based electronic ordering and billing processes for inter-company trading. Implementation resulted in circa £0.5 Million in productivity improvements.

Managed a joint Ericsson & Vodafone project to design and build a mobile project management and billing process This reduced billing delays and reduced working capital by circa £2 Million..

Managed project to implement new paperless procurement process based on workflow and document management aimed at reducing admin costs and improved approval mechanisms.
Managed Outsourcing of desktop applications and first line support to EDS. Defined SLAs and negotiated costs

Managed project to improve the receivables management process, which included design, build and rollout of a Debtors management system. This resulted in a 25% reduction in debtors and much-improved dispute and quality management.
1993 - 1997   Ericsson Manufacturing
Managed an 18-month multi million pound project for Ericsson, to migrate their core systems to an ORACLE database and provide business continuity.

Project managed ERP implementation at the manufacturing division of Ericsson UK. Part of a program to replace numerous legacy systems with one core system and reduce IT costs by approx £1Million, and the same time improve business controls.
